Bioonion

BioOnion is a descriptive term to explain how the biological information processing system works.
Biological information objects exist in different layers. These layers are sometimes clear and some other times not.

Bioonion is not food.

Cell is a relatively a good information processing unit in biology. As a bag of molecules, it accepts energy and processes it to do something.
Biological layers at different levels seem to have very simple information processing rules.

The rules are best broken down to "interaction network". A molecular interaction network and a large scale human network may have the same principles in terms of energy processing.

It is understandable as the bioonion with simple recursive rules is perhaps the most cost effective way of processing information.
